Brazil, the world's largest coffee producer, offers ideal conditions for producing our specialty coffee thanks to its unique location and climate. The coffee farms in the Matão region are situated at an altitude of approximately 800-1,300 meters above sea level and benefit from warm temperatures and regular rainfall – a perfect environment for producing high-quality Brazilian specialty coffee.

The women of WOMEN IN COFFEE rely on "honey" and "natural" methods to process their specialty coffee. These techniques, in which the coffee cherries are partially or completely sun-dried in their pulp, contribute to the unique sweetness and fruity flavor of our Brazilian specialty coffee.

From the plantations in Brazil, through careful drying and sorting, to processing and export – every step is meticulously overseen by the women of the WOMEN IN COFFEE project. Upon arrival in Europe, the coffee is roasted by select artisan roasters in the Netherlands and Germany and delivered directly to your home.
